A virtual number for WhatsApp is a temporary phone number used to receive the one-time verification code (OTP) when you register an account. You do not get a SIM card — you get the number on screen, request the code in WhatsApp, and the code appears on your order page.
How the process works on ToolNexx
- Pick a country listing, for example WhatsApp Virtual Number – Canada or WhatsApp Virtual Number – Indonesia.
- After payment, the number appears in My Orders with a live countdown.
- Enter the number in WhatsApp and request the SMS code.
- The OTP shows on the same order page as soon as the supplier receives it.
The number is only active for a short window, so keep WhatsApp open and request the code right away.
Choosing a country
- Price: listings differ. At the time of writing (30 October 2026) Indonesia and Russia were ₹110 and Canada ₹214. Check the product page for the current price.
- Stock: each listing shows live availability; out-of-stock countries are marked in red.
- Your use: pick the country you are comfortable having on the account long term, because WhatsApp ties the account to that number.
If the OTP does not arrive
- Wait for the countdown before requesting again — repeated requests can make WhatsApp delay the SMS.
- Use Replace Number on the order page while it is available to get a fresh number on the same order.
- If no code arrives at all, contact support from My Orders with your order ID.
Important
Use virtual numbers only for lawful purposes and within WhatsApp's terms. A temporary number may be reassigned later, so turn on two-step verification in WhatsApp after you register.
