Choose the content object the service actually supports. A valid platform domain does not establish that a profile, post or Reel URL matches the plan. Links copied from search results can point to an unintended page.

- Read the service鈥檚 target requirements.
- Open the final URL.
- Remove unrelated text around the link.
Keep a private decision record with the relevant link, date, chosen metric and any quoted condition. If two offers use different definitions, resolve that difference before comparing their prices. Do not fill an unknown field with an assumption just to finish a comparison.
An illustrative situation
A Reel views plan receives a general profile URL. Checking that the URL belongs to Instagram catches only the domain; checking the content object catches the more important mismatch. This is a planning example, not a verified customer result or a promised outcome.
