Separate your Lovable budget notes into building/chatting, hosting and backend activity, and deployed-app AI activity. Lovable documents one credit balance across these activities, so a prompt count alone is not a sufficient explanation of overall credit use. The ledger below is an external planning aid, not a built-in reporting claim.
Describe activities before allocating costs
Start with what happened rather than an assumed credit rate. Building notes might describe an iteration session. Hosting notes might describe a period when the app was in use. App-AI notes might identify a deployed AI feature or a change to it.
The supplied documentation says actual use depends on activity. It does not provide the consumption rates needed to turn your activity notes into exact costs. Keep observed balances, activity records and estimated allocations separate.
For an Indian agency, maintain an INR planning column only as an internal budget convention, not as a published Lovable price.
Create an activity allocation ledger
For each review interval, record:
- Start and end time, using one stated time zone.
- Available balance evidence, if legitimately accessible.
- Building/chatting activity summary.
- Hosted app and backend activity summary.
- Deployed-app AI activity or relevant changes.
- Internal project or cost-centre reference.
- Attribution status: supported, estimated or unknown.
- Reviewer and unresolved evidence request.
Use “unknown” when an amount cannot be reliably assigned. Do not imply that observing three activities means you can split a balance change accurately among them.
Evaluate a hypothetical mixed-use afternoon
Suppose a Chennai team records a hypothetical balance movement from 1,000 to 910 units during an afternoon. In the same interval, it completes two building sessions, keeps a demo app available and demonstrates an app-AI feature.
The only arithmetic established by those inputs is a 90-unit movement. The notes do not establish how much each activity consumed. Record the movement as unallocated until adequate evidence supports a split.
Evaluate the ledger on whether it preserves all three activity categories and labels uncertainty. A neat but invented 30/30/30 allocation is less useful than an honest unallocated amount. These figures are illustrative, not a claimed test or Lovable consumption benchmark.
Stop allocating when evidence runs out
If attribution is unsupported, stop converting activity counts into exact credit costs. Next, improve the observation interval and collect relevant, non-sensitive evidence before revising project budgets.
When considering additional access through the AI tools catalog, check access format and save terms before buying. Marketplace account, code or token offers are not proof of official subscription equivalence or documented Lovable funding.
